There are many sites to be created to support the Olympics. In addition to creating sites to support the journey of the Olympic torch, the participation of volunteers, to illustrate various secondary aspects, the main official site must be designed and created with a look and a specific mission before the start of the games, and another site it must be designed and created to replace it during/after the games. For example, during and after the games, maximum emphasis must be given to the real-time results, the scheduling of the ongoing competitions, the medal table all primary information which, obviously, is not available before the games start.
There are therefore at least two sites to be created and managed. THE TEST WEEKS The site creation process in 2006 involved completing the sites approximately 3-4 months before launch, during the Test days. The Nepal Phone Number Test days consisted of seven days of "digital" simulation of the games. In these days, the systems produced fake data in real time, just as if the athletes were competing, and the entire system was put through tests to make sure everything was working well. What's more: some operators were busy simulating failures and unexpected events, and the time taken by each to overcome the problem was measured.
Since I had to manage the site, support the editorial team and other activities related to updating the site, during the Test days a person approached me, suddenly turned off my PC while I was preparing a news story, and looked at me, telling me "Face I realize that the PC broke. What does he do now?” . “I move to another station, and use the image backup on CD that we have set up.” “Well, do it and show me.” Things like that. A colleague of mine was asked not to show up the next day, to fake feeling unwell, and to tell us only the next day; an operator would observe how and in how long we would have solved the problem of his absence the next day.
